A Friendly Reminder

This is a public announcement. 
You don’t have to be perfect, because no one is perfect. Even if some people may seem perfect. No, you are not a screw-up. Yes, you can get back on track. And please, please, pretty please, stop with the excessive self-criticism, or better yet, the self-bashing!
 You don’t have to have everything figured out right now.
 First of all, you are amazing. Let’s not mince words, and don’t try and be humble about it. Relish in your greatness. Okay? Now that we’ve covered that, understand that so long as you’re moving forward, no matter how slow you may think you are moving; you are making progress.  
So you may have a moment where you break down, or where you need to ask for help. You’re only human! Don’t feel disturbed or disgusted by yourself because of it!
It’s okay if you have to take it day by day, or even hour by hour! The important thing is to keep moving forward. Be proud of yourself for what are doing, not what you haven’t done. 
Don’t compare yourself to others, don’t put yourself down, and don’t belittle your accomplishments! 
You’ve got this, and I believe in you. 
So believe in yourself, and have a little faith in your abilities.
